The high end rewards seem to be reasonable even in some cases good with the new system, however the low end rewards are problematic from a number of standpoints. Mostly in holding down New Players, Players leveling new mechs, and players who can't afford modules yet.

In short it is good for those doing well, but for any player who is doing poorly already it makes the situation worse by making it harder to get out of a state where you are at an disadvantage. It also makes a loss more disheartening which is alienating to casual and new players who are not invested yet in the game and might find it easier to walk away than try to battle uphill.
