An LRM5 (or 2) with 1 ton of ammo can snag some assists. People rarely use AMS these days.

One thing I've learned in my young career, is that you need to take that x2 'first match of the day' really seriously. A good match can cut hours off of your XP grind. In a light or medium (hey maybe even a fast-ish heavy) I'd always bring a UAV to this match.
