Picking you up as an example as yours was the first response that got personal in this thread.
How about reporting those threads instead of trolling them yourself?
What you did there is close to a warning for harrasment. It doesn't matter if you disagree with the user or if all his threads appear to be bad to you. It's the moderators job to deal with them, not yours.
Your behavior is just as inacceptable, probably even worse, as you declare his threads to be.

So you're that threads wining about stupid crap are something the moderator' are tasked with clearing out? Because if those threads were not dealt with then it apparently wasn't the moderators job to deal with them after all.
I'm also not sure how pointing out that someone has a track record of this partially to keep newer forum members from taking troll bait is considered harassment.
Mayhaps you can't post the EXACT guidelines on what is considered acceptable or not on those two issues? You know just so there's no further confusion.

Did I, or did I not move the thread to K-town?
But as I often repeat, I'm not omniconcious. I can't know everything going on, on these boards. That's why we have the report function. Use it!
If you don't use it, you have no place to blame me, if I don't act on something.

It is done exclusivly to discredit the user. That's reason enough to qualify.

Well, you know how to handle this then. Add a filter that prevents 151 from creating any more threads.
Or his own section on the forums, either way.

Noted, making poorly though out threads is a reportable offense. Will utilize that knowledge in the future.
I'd still argue in Alistairs defense that he didn't apply any straight up value judgement on the guys old posts. He merely let the titles and contents speak for themselves.
Still whatever it's your call and I'm not here to stir the pot.
Just calling it how i see it.

That's not what I said! I have no idea how you come to that conclusion either.
The report function is not for reportable offenses only. It's for every problem that you might have with a thread or post and that would need a moderator or admin to solve.

Funny how I figured the report button was to be reserved for reportable things.
Especially since I believe somewhere in Niko's big forum moderation change/TROLLS B GONE thread was mentioning of punishing people for abuse of the report button.

Reportable doesn't mean "offenses". You can use it to request posts to get stickied, review of moderation activities, etc, etc.
