The Clan Mech Would Like To Get In Mw:o Now.

Dire Wolf, Timber Wolf, Mad Dog, the Summoner with the Hellbringer coming right behind him.
What are the mech you are now waiting?
There is two mech I am interested in.
The first one is one I used to like in his despiction in Twilight of the Clans.
The Cauldron Born for the Barbarian (and most used name). A.K.A. The Ebon Jaguar.
Named after the zombies of Irish myth, Inner Sphere warriors that first encountered it during the Battle of Luthien called this 'Mech the Cauldron-Born. Ironically, the Clan Smoke Jaguar 'Mech that was intended to replace the Loki was not referred to by its Clan designation, Ebon Jaguar, by other Clans as it was still so new that many Clans just called it by its Inner Sphere designation. It was made to ambush its enemy with a low body, similar to the Lyran Bushwacker, that makes it harder to target.[1]
The second one I am waiting is the Blood Asp
Created by Clan Star Adder as an insult to their enemies, Clan Blood Spirit, the Blood Asp has a large amount of available space for its size. Based on the Kingfisher, the Blood Asp adds an XL Engine, but space constraints forced the replacement of the Kingfisher's Ferro-Fibrous armor with standard plate. The Blood Asp incorporates sixteen tons of this armor and fourteen double heat sinks in the base chassis. One of the first 'Mechs to field breakthrough Heavy Laser technology, the Blood Asp proves to be an offensive powerhouse. Delivering incredible damage at all ranges, the Blood Asp makes short work of any enemy regardless of size.[5]
What about you?

- Light: Arctic Cheetah - signature Smoke Jaguar mech
- Medium: Viper/Firefly - very common, early invader, Ghost Bear favorite medium mech
- Heavy: Ebon Jaguar/Cauldron-Born - iconic, signature Smoke Jaguar mech
- Assault: Kingfisher - very old design, still used by CGB and CSJ - and a rare 90 tons Clanner

Clan Wave IV (featuring Clan Wolf and Clan Jade Falcon favorites. Timeline: ~3052):
- Light: Fire Falcon
- Medium: Phantom
- Heavy: Linebacker (or Night Gyr)
- Assault: Turkina
Reinforcement: Pouncer/Cougar, Black Lanner
Clan Wave ? (after the implementation of MASC):
- Light: Fire Moth (Dasher)

I don't know what is the bigger hurdle for Warhammer--its status as "unseen" or the difficulty of introducing Clan battlemechs without completely obsoleting the IS.

Technicly, the IIC are not Unseen I believe.
That is only for the name of the "Original" version.
And for the Clan Battlemech, why not fixed engine just like the Omnimech, and the ability to change heat sink, endo steel and structure?

So you mean to tell me that the Inner Sphere, which lacks the understanding of how to even manufacture a 'Mech, can figure out how to completely replace the skeleton of their 'Mechs while the Clan technicians have their collective thumbs up their asses and can not even figure out how to swap armor types? The very concept is absurd.

All existing Warhammer IIC images I've ever seen look enough like the "unseen" Warhammer to keep it from being used in my opinion. I'm not a lawyer though.

Well, technicly the IIC variant are made by the clan Quiaff?
Beside, games are Apocryphal. The very concept of MW:O itselft is absurd.
We are all mechwarrior you can have more than one mech.
Most of us have at least 4 battlemech.
Unless your a prince, you can't afford that much for you alone in the franchise.

From what I understood.
It is the design AND the name together who cannot be used.

The name is fine, the mech that the War hammer is designed on, was originally called the Tomahawk in macross, latter once Harmony Gold made Robotech, Excalibur.
It is only the images that are the problem, not the names.
Aff, the IIC versions are Clan versions that are in every way better than the Inner Sphere could ever have made.
That being said, most of our second line units run into an issue with being Battle-mechs, and PGI has made the distinction between Omni and Battle for the mech families, Omni being Clan, Battle being Inner Sphere. As it stands, if we were to have Clan Battle-mechs, with how Battle-mechs work, they would out class their Omni-mech cousins by a large margin. If only due to how the Battle-mech can be customized, more so than the Omni-mech that is built around being plug-and-play.

35 tons of pain, the Arctic Cheetah.
Clan Nova Cat's 50 ton replacement to the Nova, the Huntsman is a fantastic, fantastic little workhorse.
And, as long as timeline is not being stuck to like glue

30 tonner with a 270XL, and a minimum of 3 energy, 4 ballistic hardpoints, it's like a clan Ember.

Why do I have the strange feeling you are part of the Clan Nova Cat?
I liked the SuperNova in Mechwarrior Living Legend. A fantastic Energy boat if you knew how to use it.
Same for the Blood Asp wich I loved.

With a quirk to ignore Ghost heat on 3 cERLL....
actually trying to rebuild it with a ugly warhwak and its one arm being armlock, I think even with ghostheat firing 3 CERLL is fine.
It just will have issues since the firepower on MWO level is quite low and speed is horible on the Supernova. But sitll it'sa very sexy mech, and probably, if enough crits are left giving it ES and upgrading the engine would make it a bit better. But that would depend onhow PGI implements clan battlemechs, if they ever give clanners battlemechs.

Sadly, we don't have MASC yet.
