Arctic Cheetah, Viper, Cauldron Born, Executioner. Yeah, I'd probably buy that.

NO one wants to see the Solitaire?

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Solitaire

a mech that moves faster than the current locust with speed tweak can move, carries decent armor, and an alpha strike that will kill any unwary mech if hit in the rear torso?

yes please.

But me wants the shadowcat, black lanner and fire falcon first. also, grendel and nobori nin and yes, NOVA CAT.

No love for the Mad Cat mk. II?

Its primary variant has just an ideal loadout.. Goes fast enough.. And jumps.. And it is a heavier Timber Wolf :D

And its introduction is not THAT far away.. We might have a change to get them as prototypes after a timeline jump, if PGI can figure out how to implement Clan BattleMechs..

I know it's a decade or so away, but Mad Dog F config: 2 ballistic (1 each arm), 2 energy in each torso. Also HAG weapons so I can do more stupid builds with my Kit Fox Prime, getting bored of Gaus and UAC/20 builds for lolz.

HAG (as future tech) could simply be be the default weapon to use if introduced badly.

The weapons are future tech so ya I don't think I'd want this in the game yet. If they were added we'd need other weapons too like light/heavy gauss and ATM.

The HAG wouldn't necessarily be the top item. Ammo shortage is a problem unless you dedicate yourself to the weapon, and then IMO would only really be effective if paired, 2x HAG. The weapons can explode if hit hard, and they are big weapons so this could be a problem. Lastly, it spreads damage across multiple slugs, so probability to hit would become higher, but unless u get a clean shot from close range some of the slugs will miss and/or spread across armor. I don't see this weapon becoming the end-all be-all weapon of choice. Sure the meta-cheese nubs might rave over it for a while, but you could say the same for any future-tech weapon. All weapons have their advantages and drawbacks.

We're already using future tech with the current Streak LRMs though.

Neg, Streak missiles prevent tubes from firing if those tubes have not achieved a lock. You can dumb-fire LRMs, thus they are not streak LRMs.

You're right! They're better than streak LRMs.
