It was a new kind of event, unlike their other events, it did work differently. This event was so popular though, I am sure we will see more like it in the future.

I could get worst results, but at the end of the day, all it matters is the fun this tournament was.
Now with the quirks applied I believe we will see a more variable amount of mechs in the tournaments to come. Can't wait for them and I hope PGI keeps this tournament model every time possible.

Guys, does anybody else have a bug with Skull Pumpkin? It is invisible in combat, though it is visible in mechlab.
(High preferences, dx11). I run fixer few times, but pumpkin still invisible.
I didnt noticed when it happened, but it was ok for sometime after this event.

DUDE................ why did you re-open this thread so close to XMAS???? Do you realize that I thought there was another TRick or Treat event but XMAS?? I was so excited..... Now I'm bummed.....

As to your question... I cannot do DX11 without game crashing hardcore so I do not know..... but I do know that my Nuke Pumpkin works in both Mechlab and in the game.... except for CW when the cockpit disappears when there is too much going on in the game (36 dead mechs will do that)

This is a great example of how the metrics used to reward mercs and establish groups for things like this are completely disconnected from the actual population.

There's very few people actually *playing* in Wolf. We've had nothing but ghost drops - when we can get a lobby.

If you actually look at the leaderboards and total wins/losses, Steel Viper (which is brand new) has more total matches played by 15% just on its own than Wolf has total. By having 2 factions vs Wolf you absolutely ensure that there's a huge population imbalance. That also doesn't account for mercs who went Wolf and left.

Beyond that many Clan Wolf units will not play Clan v Clan and so have avoided playing FW since the event.
