"The D-DC got double dipped on the ECM bonus"

What the **** does this even mean

They said that mechs that have access to ECM and JJ have a clear advantage over their non-ECM and non-JJ brethren, so they are placed higher on the tier list. The higher you are placed, the fewer quirks you get. They later said that, since JJ and ECM are important, having one reduces the number of quirks a mech gets. So that's two quirks lost if your mech has either ECM or JJ, three to four if your mechs has both.

Dragons. Just cuz. And since all my favorite mechs are tier 3-5, should be some fun all around.

I might actually be checking out Wolverines. They are still vulnerable to being surgically disarmed, but with some of the quirks they are getting it might be worth the risk to heavy load the right arm and see how much damage you can do.

I'm going to pull out my Sparky and assrape everything.

15% less ML heat and 15% faster ML cooldowns, along with 7.5% faster cooldown for my LL's and 7.5% less heat for my LL's.

Yeah, I am also very tempted to get Sparky. I haven't got any Griffins yet.

PGI, can we get a Griffin Mastery Pack, pretty please?

The Raven-H and the Raven-2X, both got good quirks, too bad that the leg boxes have not been fixed.

I'll dust off my AC-20 Victor-9b, anyone got some windex?

Probably take my Hunchy out for a spin.
Will still laugh at my Quickdraw while the dust piles on, maybe if there is enough of it caked on the legs will finally stop falling off it.

I'm most excited about the locust acceleration buffs, I think that is going to make a huge difference in gameplay. The laser buffs are the icing on the cake, although I still think I'll stick with 4 mediums on my 3m.

Also looking forward to catapult c4 buffs. I wasn't aware of this but apparently it's a terrible mech.

Nothing, because I was already in tier 1 and 2 mechs, or using builds that are already uber and will still be more uber than the builds the perks encourage.

Doesn't look like many of mine will change. Looks like I'll have to put the AC/20 back on the Flame though.

I didn't chase the meta before, so many of these changes wont benefit me. But you all have fun being herded into the same meta builds.

I only see two more meta builds out of the entire Quirk list that was posted.

Everything else is still worse than the Doomcrow, Wubshee, Timby, Direwhale, and Jagerbomb.

Now you have the Awesomevomit*, and the DakkaDragon* too. Thats it.

*names still TBD

They actually buffed the dakka Banshee with AC 5 quirks.

Time for me to start playing banshees.

Its still not as good as Wub. Though the backup weapons get a tiny buff. Nothing earth shattering there. I still wont be mounting AC5s over an AC20. Being able to put 55 damage into a CT in half a second is far superior to some extra range and cool down on 2xAC5s. Dakka is nice, but it just doesnt do it well enough to give up the insta gib ability.

I think I am going to run 5SPLasers on the 3M. With the 30% range extension combined with the SPLaser range module I have (from my Partyback experiment days :) ), I think it will be pretty viable.

I'm excited to try it.

I'm actually debating taking a break.

No, really.

Here's why; The chassis that I bought, based on stock loadout, to do their job with the stock loadouts, seem to be the ones that PGI is not at all helping the stock loadout on. Yes, the split quirks lend a little to the stock, but overall, it's like being punched in the face.

Yes, I get "nothing has been nerfed!!!111!one" but compared to anyone running the quirked builds, anything I can come up with will look bad, moreso than normal. The K2 was pretty much the last straw; I bought a PPC carrier for long range support. I'm getting a medium laser+ac skirmisher instead, while the Firebrand gets PPC buffs. I guess having the K2 compete with the Firebrand was something PGI hated.

No, I might just leave, despite my premium time ticking down.

My reaction when I saw Cavale was a Phoenix Talon owner.

He bought the Locust. For real money.

Cavale, I know that feel, bro.

Fortunately most of the really quirked up mechs, are still bad. And if you were handling tier 1 and 2 mechs, those got almost nothing in the quirk department. So your stuff should still work.

Come Laio, ill pilot with yah. We can suicide spider. Maybe if we beg loud enough theyll add engine explosions and we can Jihad Spider.

I promise you your favorite builds will still be pretty rad. Ive gotten a feeling for the type of player you are, and im similar. We can hit FRUSTRATION LEVEL MAX and Dragon Dakka. Itll be fuuuuun. Dont leave.
