Jesus H Christ that Dragon.

So the cooldown quirks are confirmed to be straight cooldown reductions then? Those AC5s are firing 3 times faster than before.

I get that no one uses these chassis but these buffs seem a bit excessive.

50% cooldown reductions are insane. I'd be surprised if they don't tone down these quirks after they collect some data.

Can we get an option to turn quirks off in private matches?

Its a nice thought I guess... but Zero support has been made for pure BT stock fans since Day 0 so I'm not holding my breath :/. With the bad private matcher UI and insert gold coins to operate functionality and no ability to make c-bills or xp, let's just say there's a lot to be desired. Hundreds of stock players already quit the game entirely unfortunately since there is literally 0 zero support for us. IMO, its a huge letdown since all MW games past the year 2000 supported it by default. True LosTech.

The Dragon is garbage though. A great big steaming pile of bad robot. With the buff be lipstick on a pig? The only way to know is to test, I guess. I've got a feeling it will make it competitive, but still not good.

And will they compete with clan mechs? I'm gonna go ahead and say no.

OP! Give me Jagermech videos!

Was hoping the BLR-1G was going to get a ballistic cool down. Not as astounding as the Dragon, but at least a 12.5%. Instead it got a useless missile cool down for its single missile hardpoint.

Jesus christ, if a jager mech had the same quirks as the dragon it would be a god.

2 AC5s on that Dragon give it 18.25 DPS, generating 3.65 HPS. With just 10 DHS and full efficiencies, it can fire those guns for a full 44 seconds before overheating on a heat neutral map. It can core out an Atlas from the front in less than 9 seconds without even reaching 25% heat. This thing will be crazypants.

Am i the only sort of disgusted by this? I had bopes but seeing them inaction is just stupid.

lights are screwed. Everything is screwed unless you use the optimal quirk loadout.

Game is really going to be either really fast or everyone will go back to being scared as hell to move anywhere.

Like playing quake.

3 ppc alpha and only 50% heat?

They need to remember that normal players use these mechs too, not just competitive 12s. Yeah crazy buffs might bring a T4/5 mech into tourney worthy territory but some of us in the solo queue can already dominate with Awesomes, Quickdraws, Dragons, etc.

It's going to be an interesting week. I'm not buying or leveling anything untl the dust settles.

But yeah that Dragon and I think one of the Wolverines with the same ac5 buff are OP.

PGI is overdoing it. The quirks alone might be OK, but once stacked with modules, they give too much firepower buff and fight will end really fast.

That's pretty much been their MO for 3 years. Except in the case of working on CW.
