Look we all know the match maker is not friendly and in competition it can be brutal. Match maker has kept me at 50/50 win loss on solo drops... unless it is a weekend event then I seem to be hit with loss after brutal loss.

I just wonder do they turn off the smart features to quickly match up players on high server load days....... or does my high score just screw me and toss me with low scores to even out the matches? Either way its at the top of my "please fix it" issues.

I would like an option to have a just straight up random match generator, one with no smart function at all on competition days or events just so I don't feel like the match maker is punishing me for a couple days of good hunting.

I haven't messed around with the idea much but I might just make a noob account and give it a try, just to see how much the match maker changes teams from a noob account to a vet. I just know I have had some epic loss rates on event weekends topped by epic wins the next day, I haven't changed and I always play my fave's on events.

Is it the match maker or just crazy bad luck on every event?

This weekend will no doubt bring on the masses, and I will find some fun out there, but I will also no doubt curse the match maker for putting me with Team Discombobulated™ like 10X in a row.

I agree. Please throw out elo, put in strict class/tonnage matching (NO release valves), and call it a day.

Because honestly the results cant be worse than what we end up with now. Mostly stomps of 0-12 to 3-12. With a few close matches sprinkled in. And in my case (and I've heard this from numerous high elo players), being saddled with a very poor performing team while I play like a rockstar, only to be rolled in the end anyways. Often I play games where I do 800-1200 damage, get 3-4 kills, and still lose 12-4 because the next most effective member of my team did not break 200 damage, with 1/2 the team at or under 100 damage. Its incredibly frustrating, and just not right.

Somethings rotten in the state of matchmaker.
