a lot of the other cofigurations for the clan mechs use heavy lasers i don't think Mwo can add many more clan mechs without adding ATM's and/or Heavy lasers. What do you think?

How about any of the hundred or so missing IS weapons instead since the last 18 months of development was focused solely on balancing clans and changing everything IS to do so?

Plenty of mechs don't need that wonky technology. Kodiak and Stone Rhino are two that come to mind immediately.

Every Omni has at least three variants with no ATM and no heavy lasers. So MWO can add many more Clan Omni'Mechs.

According to the timeline, they're not developed until 3059.

Considering PGI can't make up it's mind as to whether this is 3049 or 3050, it may be a while.

they might have "dropped the timeline" but they are still sticking to 3050 time period mechs.

They should look at expanding the arsenal, but only when they actually do a mech time jump.

I'm not sure I'd like 2 second burn times again.

Then again, 10 damage MLs could be something. A Nova could boat 8, for 80 TT damage, with 22 DHS. These are as hot as isLLs, with 7 heat, which will naturally be increased to 8 with PGI.

Range of 270M and at 2 crit slots, they could be nasty. A 2 second burn time will likely neuter them.

Pretty sure Inner Sphere'll be seeing ERMeds and a few other reverse engineered weapons of their own before Clans bring out the heavy lasers.
