Before I waste valuable GXP, I wanted to make sure I know how it works. I'm not a big module user....several with advanced zoom, but otherwise haven't spent the dough to buy some of the more advanced modules out there. But I've been looking at some of the weapon modules and was curious about the upgrading structure. I don't have the game up, so I'm not sure on prices, but say you want to use a weapon cooldown module, so you began to purchase it. Say it costs 5000 gxp for level one. Is it 5000 gxp per level, or will level 2 be 10,000, level three 15,000, etc?

I don' want to waste the GXP on one only to find out hat it will take months of play to max out a single weapons module, which I'll then have to pay for to put on a mech.

It increases slightly at each level if I recall correctly.

EDIT: Just so that i don'look like a link-posting spambot, to reach rank 5 in any weapon mod costs 3500 GXP total.

it's like 500, 750, 1000 or something, goes up in increments, not flat but not doubling

For weapon modules, the next level is 100 GXP more than the previous. Level 1 is 500 GXP, Level 2 is 600 GXP and so on.

It's pretty cheap to level weapon modules compared to the rest, but make sure you are getting the right one based on the quirk system unless you are a clam.
