Well im pretty sure all of the mechs so far have come from the TRO 3039. So i would check that to narrow your guesses on what will be coming out next. Doubt the Star League mechs will be introduced next, im guessing Orion or possibly Panther.

Think I've read in a Battletech novel that the LRM launcher for the King Crab is a pop-up from the upper dome-like part of the body. Would be a neat 'lil animation to toss in huh?

It irks the hell out of me when people say the "unseen" wont ever be in game... Remember, its the artwork that was made unseen, not the designs themselves. Every single Unseen mech has had new "re-seen" artwork. plus, last I checked Piranha has come up with their own art for each design, so that renders the whole unseen - reseen argument moot. Plus, its not like the designs were ever Retconned out of cannon or anything...

Personally, I prefer the Crab. Never did get the chance to pilot the King Crab, despite wanting to.
Instead, I just had to stick to kicking *** with the reliable old energy-boat Crab.
I may just have to go play MechWarrior 4 or something now...

lrg and 4 med for close fire and dbl guass at long range, messed a lot of shake n bakers w/it too tehehe{shake n bake=clanners}
2 lrg not er lzrs and dble guass w/dble heatsinks works too as you can fire all and gen no heat add xl engine and 4/6 movement ! lets rock!!

Devs have said at some point unseen will be looked at - just not right way So yes at some point we should be hopefully be seeing the unseen - resdesigns most likely but PGI has done some amazing redesigns on mechs so far....

King Crab - not bad;
Highlander - possibly - as the plans have been found from Helm -
Victor is another good one;
Emperor - but production was stopped when starcorps factory was destroyed by Marik - started production back up in 3057 - along with Highlander Emp was first to have jumpjets on 90 tons -

I want to see a standard 50ton crab. This has always been my favorite mech, i thought it was one of the best combinations of armor,speed, and weapons that battletech ever came out with. BRING IT BACK!
