What do you think about this lady?
I will give her a try!

Edit: Of course you'll need a support/brawl medium by your side till the whole match. ;)

I love my Stalkers and bought the Misery the first day it was available.

I run mine like this.

AC20, 4ML, ERLL. You have the long range to poke people, but going back and forth with the AC20 and 4MLs is like an AC40, if you do it right. Really hard to overheat.

Ysemnu, that lady is ugly. 4xPPC is way too hot, and an XL is a bad idea in a Stalker, and 52kph is way too slow. If you want to run PPC's and LBX-10, then get rid of two of the PPC's, add some medium lasers for backup, and put in a big standard engine.

Something like this is still not an ideal build in my opinion, but it is an improvement:

4 LL and an AC20...maybe a ml for zombie... or 5 LL and a ton of heatsinks is fun. These are what I run.

5 pulse lasers is fun but not practical heat wise just cant get enough heat sinks... but a good laugh I mean pulse beam that doesnt stop is a thing of beauty.

I find the missile a waste of time only 6 tubes good for securing assists with a lrm 5 or 10 or a back up srm.... I mostly forget it so I pack that side with heatsinks.

Took my Misery out for a spin today for the first time since the quirk pass. My previous build, I always did really well with (Gauss + 3xERLL, thanks to seeing Triban in action). But since there was a quirk for Ballistic Velocity, I decided to go with AC20 + 4xMPL for this match and it was insanely fun and very effective. Of course, I have AC20 and MPL cooldown modules to go along with it. Forgot them on this match tho... it was just a quick drop and didn't really think after I switched it all up...

I always had similar numbers with the Gauss + 3xERLL build but this one was more fun. I'm more into brawling these days after having much more experience.

BTW, also have AMS+1ton ammo and then 4tons of AC20 ammo. Which is what I usually carry on my Atlai. I usually have 2-3 shots left if the AC20 is able to be preserved long enough.

This is what I am currently using when brawling:

MISERY-Clobbinger!

STD300
14 DHS
Endo+Art

AC20
4 MLS
SRM6
LPL

4/5 tons of AC20 ammo
2 tons of SRM.

Conclusion:

It wrecks faces and takes a serious kicking to kill. I almost always exit a map with +500 damage weather its a loss or a win.

I personally prefer 2 LPL, 1 ML, 1 AC20, standard 300. The entire right side of the mech is a shield.

I wouldn't shave leg armor off. That's generally where you keep your ammo, and legs are an increasingly common target. Besides, you have those tiny arms that are completely ineffectual at shielding - a much better place to free up a little weight.
