I won't agree that these are the only changes needed, but I would like them as well.

And? I've seen it with 900 damage and zero kills as well thanks to its crazy spread.

That looks like the group queue where you can have the benefits of team play and the build can be supported.

This, ladies & gentlemen, is what's called 'Anecdotal Evidence'. Doesn't change the fact that it's still, @ it's core, a gimmick build. You could easily put the same damage scores up in a dual gauss + whatever build, a laser vomit build, etc. Is it something that works? Yes, in the right situation. Is it something that will dominate the meta & put to shame every other, more technically viable build the DWF can produce? No. Not by a long shot.

And, every reason why its a viable build. More effective in the pug queue where teams are not as organised and you can take advantage of the fray. It serves it's purpose well.

Guess that depends on experience. Taken out plenty of 'meta' players in this very gimmick build. Satisfies me enough...

every time someone puts up a thread like this, ask the question, is the problem the weapon or the mech?

If the problem traces back the the Direwolf, the problem is not the weapon.

Instead of nerfing other weapon types down to the worst class, how about fixing the problems with the energy weapons and missile systems to make them equal to the ballistics?
