I'm in a similar boat - I filled out the profile and then upgraded the next weekend :(

I also put in a line on the profile that I was planning to upgrade, but I have no idea if that was ever seen by human eyes...

So the long and the short of it, to answer your question: "Not that the community has been made aware of." However, I wouldn't worry too much unless your previous specs were really, really low-end.

I wouldn't worry. People seem to think good PC = more beta chance. Not true.

Any good dev firm will pick as wide a range of systems as possible for their tests, because it' is supposed to test ALL levels of playability etc. Bad PC's that just hit minimum specs are just as important in a test as bleeding edge rigs.

The whole "My PC needs to be good" thing is rubbish.

If getting into beta depended on how good your computer is, I would be in beta.

One thing I do know is I will be in no later then 17 July.

Regardless, it would be nice to keep up-to-date, for the sake of accuracy.

I doubt PGI would have asked for specs or included the system profiler if they weren't planning to factor in end-user system variations as part of their beta testing.

doubt ur rigs stats really matter ... its just so they got info on what your useing and they can compare how the games running on it .... after all they need to get info on hard ware bugs that might pop up =3

still if ur running a p486 or something then u got a snowballs chance in hell of running the game anyway lol

So, yeah, I'm in the same boat here. I filled out the beta application from my daughters old laptop since my monitor onmy desktop died. I since have purchased myself a top of the line Alienware rig that shouldn't even think of hiccuping on any game on the market today. Since I sincerly doubt the laptop I filled the application out on will even run this... And I purchased the Alienware primarily for this game...

That won't work. I'm in the same boat, and there is no link for downloading the system profiler if you have already completed the app :)

Yeah...at this point, I honestly don't think it matters. Waited this long, now I just accept that I am not getting in till the Founders Launch.
