It has been stated, numerous times, that there will not be any exiting of your 'Mech. No infantry, no running around the battlefield, no running around your hangar (yet).

I thought that it would have been really cool to eject in a elemental suite and keep on going until the suit was destroyed.

I expect that ejection if present would have only off battle effect. Like not loosing or gaining more experience or some positive c-bills impact. You should have some advantage over dying in a burning cockpit.

Absolutely agree. In pretty much every MW game of the past this has been true. I would expect something similar to what you said or possibly to cut your losses on your repair bill.

When you die, you can keep watching the battles from the POV of your teammates (no freecam, which would let you recon while dead).
