A few individuals, including myself, would like to see a repair station included in the game. Currently the current maps and flow of battle do not require this item, but on a future map, including on any intended for CW might have a place for one.

However I would suggest the following limitations.
1. Only one Mech can use a repair station at any given time.
2. Mechs are not repaired instantly, but are repaired over a specific time span.
3. Parts that are blown off such as an arm or lost weapon cannot be repaired. They are gone for the duration of the match.
4. The Station has a limited amount of points for repair of Mech component parts. 100 points worth of repair for internal components, and 300 points for repair of Mech armor.

This idea comes in part from playing the game Mechcommander 2, where repair stations were used but have a limited capacity to repair a Mech.

2. Any repair stations would be camped to hell, so no.
3. You want Dropship Mode AND repair stations? No.
4. No.
5. ???
6. Profit.
7. This is not single player, so no.
8. No.
9. Not just no, but Hell No.

Repair stations woud be wonderful and greatly change the game to a more tactical game with rotating units to fight and repair. I think it would not work with the current game style though. A better style for mechs is a persistent universe with dropships and protected space ports to use the mechlab - more along the lines of Planet Side 2.

Greetings all,

Well within Lore and Tech manuals there is a vehicle for this function, but still way outside this timeline.
- Now that being said, there is still not enough time within the match's for any type of this activity.

General Motors introduce the Savior Repair Vehicle.
- was designed to alter the concept of operations for military organizations by allowing them to conduct repairs and refits in the field, rather than keeping them tied to DropShips, factories and other such repair hubs.
- The Savior is capable of salvaging, recovering and repairing both BattleMechs and vehicles in the field, as well as conducting resupply missions, and as such acts as a notable force multiplier for the military units it supports.
- 60Tons and about the speed of an assault (64kph)

Till we see some form of prolonged or extended battle time there will not be any requirement for this type of unit.
