What is up with 9 XP for 3 kill assists?

you did very little damage to those enemies. more damage to that enemy means a higher % of the XP reward for that kill

gone is the flat assist reward regardless of % of damage done.

He did almost 400 damage that isn't small servings unless his team only killed 3 and he did that much to a mad frenzy of bodies which is pretty good if he pulled 366 damage out of that so maybe your % are off.

maybe he did most of his damage to mechs that weren't killed. Don't spend your 9xp all in the one place.

Really not that rare depending on map played.

Due to the fact it was a "Defeat" we know that only 4 enemy fell from that screen shot which mean the 363 could have been to most of the mechs that did not fall in battle.
