LRMs can track the target for as long as the signal is not lost, which means they can still track for up to 3-4 seconds after breaking LoS, depending on skill nodes and TAG.
Of course UAV is another great way to make sure the target is still locked even after being out of LoS.

NARC + UAV + TAG + LOS = Massive mountain of salt lobbed by the victim towards the LRM gal who remained sight unseen.
