Very much so if you have AMS. Each node gives you 35% more damage to your AMS, and you can grab them easily if you ever go into Survival tree.

Yeah i just realized it's +1.25 dmg, not + 1.25 %...

Might aswell equip one to make lrm bads days even worse than they usually are. Just did a test run, ran through 1t of ammo within 3 minutes of the match

And that 1 ton of ammo had saved 3-4 tons of armor. :)

Yeah, not my armor though. The vast majority of lrms aimed at me are hitting hard cover. But i might aswell strip a DHS and some armor for the team. Atleast while everyone and their grandmother is using lrms. Will probably die down in 2 weeks.

I'm not sure every sensor range slot is worth it, even if running lrms now that their max range is 1030 something. If the base sensor range is still 800, you get the 25% bonus from the active probe you should have and 1 or 2 slots to take it beyond that. If you do mount AMS the AMS overload things are 2 and 5 points down the survival chain, which is handy. Though if you don't run AMS, ECM, or spend the points on radar derp complaining about lrms is damn silly.

I just run max sensors, bap, and maybe a few points in derp - though I've been phasing that out as well now that sensor range is that much further + countering uavs. Honestly to me it works out better to let them have target decay on so lrm'ers waste more ammo per attempt.

No AMS, don't go out of my way to run ECM mechs - but BAP is on almost every single mech just for the sensor range and uav counter.

On one of my support cutefoxes I run three laser-AMS with ECM and three erML (in purifier torso pods). I fill the rest of the mech with heatsinks. For skills I use a lot of cooling/max operations skills (and one coolshot) and of course AMS skills. when positioned correctly it simply shuts down enemy LRMfire.

In one of my more recent games I shot down over 1400 enemy missiles and scored 700 damage with the three highmount lasers and some arty. It was insane. What sucks is when the enemy has no LRMs and I really miss my other three lasers. Posted Image

three laser AMS runs way too hot.

I run one laser AMS and two normal AMS on my kitfox.
