So, after playing in Ice Ferrets (and re-installing the game to fix some bad bugs that had crept in). decided to log in under this account and play with IS Quirks.

Since my La malinche runs 3 LPL and an AC10, you can imagine that has me pleased. But then I popped in my VTR-9S. AC20. 3x aSRM4. 2x MLaser.

First match, only 506 damage. But 5 kills, 4 assists. And most importantly? It felt good to drive again.....not like they had stuffed Chris Farley into David Spade's wardrobe anymore!

So, again, while I may not be 100% on board with ALL the quirk decisions...thanks PGI, for giving my my VTR back! I missed her!

I don't use Victors, but I brought my FounderCat out to play for a bit and had a blast with it. The missiles fire so fast with level 5 cooldown. Weeeeeee~

*Warning, LRM ammo down to 25%*

Wha.... already? Aww..... maybe I need more ammo.

Was that sarcasm?

Because Victors did not get any Quirk during this patch.

Edit: Ah you meant removal of the negative quirks.

More importantly, they had all their negative quirks removed.

Except the removal of the negative quirks that the Victor had.

I'll be digging my DS out of the closet, now that they got rid of the negative quirks.

Pretty sure I was in that match with you. Alpine, and I was in the Cicada 3C that ran down the Ice Ferret at the end.

If you gotta spread the Wub, why not a La Wubinche? Just owned 2 Atlases and a Summoner in mine. 3x LPL and an AC10 makes holes in stuff pretty fast!

YES!

I bought the Victor awhile back but it never clicked. Got so bad that recently I opted to skip them, waiting for this this day. We'll see tonight after work...

Yeah no sh*t...I've been sitting in the mechlab for the last few hours taste-testing new builds.

yeah i brought out my victor 9s and it felt great. JJs are no where near what they used to be but the mech is great to drive. LPL got a buff, yeah ill take 2 of those oh and an ac20 to please with cd/range modules. yeah that did nicely.

Wubmaster? P-lease. The wubback (aka the Partyback) is my ride. I actually 1v1'ed a battlemaster today in my 4P. Center-punched him to death with 9 spl's. It was glorious.

Err ok back to topic, sorta. I don't actually own a Victor, but I do have their big brother, the Highlander. But man it does feel good being able to jump and turn again.

I have to say I am liking the Victor much more now. Just took my mastered 9s out for the first spin.... first game all day. I got top match score 101 3 kills and 6 assist 784 damage. Not my best game in her for sure....but since I have haven't had much time to play lately not to shabby. :D

no no no. Too slow and clumsy. Can't take advantage of the massive arms and such to spread damage. Also, it's the AC10 that gets a 20% cooldown on top of the Lvl5 module. Thus, LA wubINCHE, the same way I have run it almost since it was introduced, now made much meaner. And kicking out ac10 shells every 1.8 seconds or so is pretty sweet, especially when paired with LPLs that only generate 5.6 heat a piece.

Speed, mobility, good DPS, and concentrated damage. La wubINCHE is a very meticulously crafted beast.

it's what I was thinking of tossing on my B or possibly my DS. LPL and AC5s should do nicely, don't you think?
