I'm stuck at nine headshots.
Can't close #10 to save Blake....been trying for weeks...the last time was just this morning, when the guy flanked me, and I swear to god, the turret took his head off...looked like a bucket rolled past, game over...

so, I need someone to sync drop meet me away from all those pains in the arse who are hell bent on stealing my kill, or worse...prevent me from getting that kill!
Just sit there quietly while I remove that dome.
Centurion preferred, MAN they got some huge bitbox heads.

I would pay for speakers that said "HEADSHOT" when you nailed it.

You mean you can't find an atlas in a game to eye-shot.... I used to eye-shot Atlas' with my T-16 back home!

Jagers are notoriously easy to headshot. Same with jenners - aim for the middle of the front.

Sounds dangerously close to exploiting the game to get an achievement.

Arty head shots happen all the time in stories, but man I've only ever gotten one and have NEVER been killed by one myself.

If you get really desperate, play a zippy light and do the AFK / disconnect hunting thing. It's annoying, but that'll get you a headshot.

You are "aiming" for them right? If you're not sure where the head is, spend some time in the testing grounds and work on it. Cents are actually somewhat easy too ... just be ready when you see someone overheating.

Yeah either get someone to help you, or grab a light and run to the enemies spawn and pray for disconnects. Thats how I did it.

That hasn't been an issue in several months. You should be safe to return to the K2 (unless you like standing perfectly still or powering down in front of the enemy for a few min).

LOL

the last 3-4 I intentionally targeted, I set up the erppc sniper, the head was glowing- I'm patiently waiting for the cool down......... and zing, someone else finished them off.
The first 5-6 I got were unintentional. NOW being OCD I must get that last one, whoohooo
and yes, K2's got fixed I think. Currently the easiest are centurions, ravens, commanders, couple others

just get in a light and drop until you see some zero pinger on the other side, and run over and headshot them. easy enough.

Or that...
There are other mechs that do the same job only better.

Can I get a 12-man group to hold still and 11 other players on my team to stand by and cheer...so I can get the Death Star unlock?

:P

I do feel the Cat was in as desperate need of a CT buff as the Dragon. It is a bit better, but it might be the easiest CT to nail still of any mech.

Kinda detracts from the Achievement if you have your opponent serve his head to you on an easy platter.
