Adding Armour

I think we should be aboul to add arsenal armour like u can with ammo or weapons like 1 tun of armour takes up one slot to help customize our mechs to fit our play stile

Um... you can change that already. When selecting a part in loadout, tick the up or downarrow button near the armor #. It may require you to redistribute points front to back, however.

You mean in addition to the armor customization we can already do? There's no need, as it would simply become another requirement for anyone who actually wants to win their matches.

i was thinking like add additional to what u can already have to make like a tank or something of that sourts

Chassis are chassis. Get a heavier one.

per class the armor add on in slots would cost more than one. for reasons of balance, extra armor would have a negative quirk to speed and higher slot usage limiting firepower/heat management even the total damage thru ammo count. you may last longer, but it will also take longer to destroy enemies in lower dpm

There's modular armor but that's not around till 3070.
