Daily Doubling

When the economy changed recently I got a suggestion from another player to make use of the daily double to enhance my earnings. That is, play a mech until I'd earned my x2 bonus for first victory of the day and then move on to another mech - earning as many x2 bonuses a day as possible.
I spent some time in the Mechlab and put together one decent build for every chassis I have leveled up. I chose Primes or Champions in almost every case to maximize earnings. The way my life works I only have an hour or two to game every night. I log in, grab any one of my prepped mechs and have at it. I play it only until I win my first victory of the night with it. Then I switch to a different mech and continue.
There are several advantages to this. First, earnings go up dramatically on a good, wining match. I'm talking 200,000 to 300,000 if I do any kind of a good job at all. That's with Champion/Prime bonus, premium time, and the daily double. Second, I find playing a variety of different chassis in a night much more fun than just camping on my favorite. Variety is the spice of life after all. Third, on those nights when Matchmaker has it in for me I've found that after taking two or three bad stomps a quick switch to a different weight class can often change my luck entirely. It may be my imagination, but I don't seem to suffer anymore from those dreaded ten to fifteen stomps in a row ruts that can sometimes happen.
Finally, I know the common wisdom is that one should find the weight class and play style they like and stick with that for the best gaming experience. I'm suggesting the opposite. Try daily doubling for a while. Play every different class. Give every different chassis you own some love on a regular basis. You might like it. I sure do.

Daily doubles for hero mechs makes a lot of sense. Maybe let each account have 1 daily double that applies to non hero mechs.

Because practice, every mech behaves differently, moves differently etc... so the more you train the mech the better you perform. The more you switch the less muscle memory works and you perform less good.

daily "times twos" are for your experience only.
(ps the more you switch around, the more you understand what people bring to the table. by knowing that a certain mech can't twist as well, or that such n such can't aim that high, it gives you a knoweledge base that allows you to make intelligent decisions on the battlefield. running one mech is fine and all, but will not give you the insight of how/why someone's having a good/bad run in a mech)

That said, I would absolutely embrace the daily double including C-bill generation as well, that would be a greater incentive to me to switch around mechs and builds that I drop in.

Concentrating on one build per Mech and getting good with it will boost your earnings, however, especially if it is a Hero or c-bill Champion (like the Cent-AH). The same reasoning applies. You will perform better playing a single build more often than switching between builds even on the same mech.
Better results for the Daily Double is just an illusion, because you only get the bonus in winning matches, where you will get more c-bills naturally for the win.

Personally, I think both xp and cbills should double with pt, all the time.
