Unlock Cockpit Customization Items in the Tons of Fun Group Queue Challenge

This weekend, play with your friends in groups of 2 to 12* and earn points towards a prize Cockpit Item

There is one catch: You have to keep your tonnage within a set range for your group size!

Why are we doing this? For science, of course! We want to see how Tonnage and Weight Class limits affect player behaviour and match balance.

I would like to know that as well. But from the numbers I guess it's individual.
Example: 140= 5 Kill Assists x 20  + 1 Spot Assist x 20 + 300 Damage / 15

To get a point you must:

• Be in a group
  
• the group must be within the weight restrictions
  
• and you must achieve the minimum score of 140 as an individual

Your match formula and score will be displayed on the /Tournaments Page and your Progress is Displayed in Profile/ Stats /Challenges page

Whoa 140 score that is pretty steep I think. Unless that is damage.

Maybe I'm just bad but I rarely get more than 100 match score in most games. Can't imagine doing it 60 times in a row.

Guess I'm out of this race.

EDIT: The "Match Score" in the OP is an entirely separate system created just for this event. Not the "Match Score" you see on the after action report.

It's not unreasonable for someone to assume that it's the very same "Match Score" you see on the after action report. Especially since the very last event actually used the "Match Score", requiring only 30 points to qualify for a match.

They should definitely change their wording so there isn't any further confusion and forum arguments such as this.

Some people seem to be misunderstanding yet again.

the 140 required is NOT the match score showed at the end of the match. It's the score figured up by the tournament formula.

Yes, PGI could probably change their verbiage from 'match score' to 'tournament score,' but seriously people, it doesn't take that much of an intellectual jump to figure out what's going on here.

140 is NOT the match score you see on your end of rounds screen. It is a totally different formula.


The effort for this challenge is similar to the halloween challenge.
