They absolutely should make that clarification.

Is it safe to say that the hamster wheel comes with the hamster?
Wait Baltor broke it down pretty well it does not sound that bad after all
It comes with the hamster, but no wood chips, so you will need to buy the air freshener cockpit item to go along with the hamster wheel. :-)

You can see the formula on the tournament page and make your own math, it is so obvious.

I see that now, but at first glance I saw, "Match Score".
It's not unreasonable for someone to assume that it's the very same "Match Score" you see on the after action report. Especially since the very last event actually used the "Match Score", requiring only 30 points to qualify for a match.
They should definitely change their wording so there isn't any further confusion and forum arguments such as this.

Question though: is there anywhere we can preview warhorns? Like "x warhorn" and it plays "x soundclip"?

Be sure to check the various TS servers for groups if you want to PUG into one.

I can't even pretend to want to try this when I need to "qualify" in at least 20 matches to just end up with a MWO coffee cup? LOL
The Halloween event was fun because we could possibly qualify in every match. And we had a chance to get XP, C-Bill and things like weapons and so on. In fact, I won this very MWO coffee cup by qualifying in 1 match in that event. Now I have to qualify 20 times to get the same cup?
Sorry guys... I don't think this weekends turnout will be as good as the Halloween event. Even if it is for "Science".

Guess I'm out of this race.
All you need is seven spot assists and a positive enemy-to-friendly damage ratio to qualify. Say, even just three spot assists with four general assists will work. It shouldn't be that hard at all.
I'm thinking of going out with my Hunchback-4J. TAG in the head with rapid-fire LRM10s, should do quite well. Alternatively, any light with ECM to protect from enemy LRMs and/or spot enemies will also be viable.
OT: 60 qualifying matches, and all with a group? Thats a hell of a lot...

No, the last event did not used a match score of 30. It used a different formula as well, which is written down every time on the event or tournament page.
OLD:
Score Formula
Score formula: (kills) + (kill_assists × 2) + (spot_assist × 2) + ((damage - friendlyfire_damage) ÷ 15) + (cbills_earned ÷ 10000) + (xp_earned ÷ 100)
This is not how the after round match score is calculated.
They may change the wording but the meaning is clear when you read the rules to qualify.
