Maybe, but some way to find a group ingame would be nice.
Dropping solo to find a group is kinda inefficient.
1. there are only solo people, they prolly play alone because they want to.
2. Say you find someone, play a game or two with him and you dont like him (or he doesnt like you, or he is sh*t). That means you have to drop again solo to find other players.
3. Chance of finding a player with first solo drop is not exactly great is it?
4. Using the forum would be even worse, since it takes even more time to actually get together. Also only a fraction of the player base actually uses the forum.
I get your point, and I agree, it is possible to find players to group up. But that does not mean that the (a) system shouldn't be improved (introduced).

I do not disagree with the idea of having some sort of group finder chat channel in the UI, I merely suggested an alternative for use in the meantime.

2. Removing the Class limit of 3 Light 3medium 3 heavy 3 assualt if you are doing a tonnage restiction should be removed. It adds a Artifical Limitation in addition to tonnage skewwing any data you hope to have for analysis
3. Good Challenge my Clan is enjoying it.

I don't want to play in groups. I like weekend challenges. Giving challenges that can't be completed by solo players sends a strong "our way or the highway" vibe.
Suggestion: If you want to reward group play via challenges, then make all the challenges doable by both solo and group players, but just provide bonuses to completion rates for whichever queue you want to favor that weekend.

How come we're being scored individually on a team event? Shouldn't we be rewarded if our TEAM succeeds?
This is a team event, right? Just double checking.

If we cannot just drop 2 VS 2-3 vs 3 - up to 12 Vs 12 with friends of same size groups what is the point of group play?

It's doing the very opposite, since the farming is easier, but the actual winning is not.

No, the last event did not used a match score of 30. It used a different formula as well, which is written down every time on the event or tournament page.
OLD:
Score Formula
Score formula: (kills) + (kill_assists × 2) + (spot_assist × 2) + ((damage - friendlyfire_damage) ÷ 15) + (cbills_earned ÷ 10000) + (xp_earned ÷ 100)
This is not how the after round match score is calculated.
They may change the wording but the meaning is clear when you read the rules to qualify.
Every "Match Score" I had on the after action report directly coincided with what showed up on the tournament page during the Halloween event.
If they aren't using the match score on the after action report to indicate the scoring in this event they need to change the wording. Simple as. No amount of condescending speech or smileys will make me change my opinion on that.
