I stated several times during different periods of uproar that I would not activate my Founders (and Phoenix) premium time until community warfare was in the game.

Seeing as PGI have honored their promise of CW before the end of the year I would like to inform them that I have activated 30 days of that "banked" premium time.

I call on all those who made similar statements to activate PT or spend money to seriously think about fulfilling those commitments you made.

Hopefully this show of support from otherwise jaded players will spur PGI on to even better things in 2015.

Thankyou PGI for finally getting CW on the field, even if it is only the basics so far.

The star map is impressive and the new maps, modes and dropships are excellent.

I'm impressed... It's a solid foundation.

I was so disappointed about the whole 2013 period of MWO, I promised that only full CW will make me spend more money on MWO. I already spent twice the amount of AAA title, without a AAA game in return. As the CW is not fully here, my wallet remains shut. -_-

But you don't have to open your wallet to use premium time you already have

My founder PT is already spent back in 2012, before the "Year of Major Suckage".

So far most of what I've seen regarding CW is very positive. I'm sure the normal doom and gloomers will try to tear it down eventually but I'm hopeful and excited.

Saw "Promises Honored!" and thought they were getting rid of 3PV.

Haven't got to drop yet but went in and checked out the map and such.

Excellent job. I love how easy and intuitive it is to find battles and contested planets. I didn't get to drop but I did hit the launch window to see what it looked like. So we have a "lobby" of sorts as the team fills it looks like.

Question
Do people jsut pile into the lobby as they launch so you can sit around and talk before you drop into game or does it jsut remain emtpy until you drop into the game?

I haven't played yet either. But I did have a fun time watching NGNG stream it on Twitch and participating in the chat there. It made the time between drops more tolerable. Never saw them chat in the lobby though. I think it needs something more global, particularly when people on opposite sides agreed to attack/defend a planet.

We need more "community" in Community Warfare!

Actually in a way they have. No 3pv in CW.

Unfortunately not. The lobby is only populated once all 12 are available.

Hopefully this will be changed so you can chat with people as they join. Additionally, all of the Calls to Defend/Attack could be organized into a list, sorted by numbers of players. This would give us something very much like a game browser! Now that would be awesome!

I believe the lobby thing is a bug. Doesn't make any logical sense to keep it like this.

I'm glad to find CW had finally come to MWO. Congrats PGI!

Now I just need to be able to play it. Am I doing something wrong? I'm in a lobby with my drop ship configured, but no one ever enters the lobby.

Any help is appreciated. :)

Odd visual bug with it. It doesn't show up until it's full. Clicking the popups for planets that need defending/attacking (you can get one to show up by queing and dropping out if you don't want to wait for it to come naturally) usually gets you a match that fills up within five minutes

GASP.

Makes me want to consider CW. All they need to do is ditch two of the most idiotic additions to this game: ghost heat, and the charge-up mechanic on the Gauss Rifle. I could kind of forgive the ghost heat if they fix the Gauss Rifles, honestly...that was my favourite weapon to add to mixed builds, but I only feel like boating it with other Gauss and PPC's, with the charge-up mechanic enabled.

Aye, they have finally got it into the game. I want to thank them for that. Unfortunately, it's also very buggy and the frame rates are borderline unplayable for me. Mind you, I'm not complaining. I'm just stating the obvious. I'll probably wait to activate my premium time after the holidays. I expect lots of rapid fixes to come in January and February.
