It seems like the quirk system was designed to stuff us into tiny prepackaged boxes. Does this mean that the matchmaker (solo queue) will start using the new “Skimisher”, “Brawler”, and “Support” ROLE classifications to build matches. I have already seen a few all skimisher matches, which perform poorly.
And if you do implement Role Warfare into the matchmaker, will it be by build, or by “pre-designated” classifications. For instance will a Centurion CN9-A be a “brawler” even if it carries 3x LRM10 and TAG?

If that were the case. They wouldn't have included the generalized quirks. Besides a lot of the mechs that got a heavy amount of quirks. Are mechs that weren't really getting a lot of attention before. Can't say the Awesomes were living up to the other Assaults.
I doubt we'll see role warfare taken into account in the matchmaker. It's already struggling with weight classes.
