[Mechwarrior Buddah]

Its funny; Ive been seeing really light groups in the group que where they get rolled by ppl running full tonnage groups of 3/3/3/3

When Ive asked, the light groups said they were trying for the tourney. The funny thing is this tourney is getting me plenty of wins this weekend where ppl are nerfing themselves by running under weight go get a virtual coffee cup

They are not running for the cup, I assure you. As for me, I am doing better in Solo-Q cause many veteran players there went to the group challenge.

Yep, I gave up on the event after some matches because is nearly impossible for a group of PUGs to do better than 0 - 12 against a real group of players.

Been doing Decent with the tourney, got the hamster.
The way you roll the full tonnage guys is spam Scrows and Embers
Played the majority of my games in 1 lance with 3 scrows and a timber/ember, won 90% of the time.

Just have to run mechs that aren't terrible and take life seriously, and you can still be competitive.

Ive been having great fun farming the ppl running the tourney in a LRM Warhawk with nothing but LRMs and 5 or 6 friends
