I've master the 1D, 2d, and B. I ran xl 170 on all of them. I just picked up the 3A, and intend to run XL 200 on that baby. Really enjoyed the commandos earlier on with LRMS bc I was REALLY REALLY BAD when I started. I changed over to SRM and med laser combos, and lasers only on the B. I punched up the armor on all of them, and topped out at 121kph with tweak. I found that was enough. I enjoyed using all three.

That being said I prefer the Raven 3L.

So, I summon the dead thread because of some kind of nostalgia.... I started my light pilot career with COM, 2014/11...

Thousand of matches later, I was needing to fell that awesome feeling of freedom: "going commando" again!


Reading the quirk list I found something hilarious: the A3, considered the "bad commando" back in the days, now has hilarious quirks: it's a mini-oxide, 30% mis.cooldown

So I mastered it in 2 days. Maybe it's not a bad COM anymore, or, meanwhile, I became a better pilot.
But now it's my COM with better stats: 1.50 k/d ratio and 357dmg/match.

Your build is missing 1 heatsink, but seems like a good idea. I think mine has 2 srm4, 2 ml, and an xl210. I should get it back out again sometime.

I basiced the 3A using 2srm4+2ml, but then engine was too slow, or ammo was ending too early.
So, I elited and mastered using srm4 only, taking advantage of the quirk.
