I'd like to see when we unlock stuff in our mech trees, it actually show it somewhere in your mech stats... Other than you just having to read it in the skill tree.

What I mean is, in game we have a bar that shows our heat build up and its disapation. The bar shows a max of 100% right? Now if we unlock the skill cool running and gain an additional 10% threshold to the total limit before we heat up to the point of shutdown, shouldn't that bar now show 110%? And when we max out our skills and double the efficiencies, that would make cool running 20% right? So shouldn't that bar show 120% total heat build up before we are forced to shut down?

The same goes for all the other efficiencies. When I unlock them, I want to see those numbers applied to my mech or the hud or somewhere where I can compare the base stay to the new stat withy the efficiency added.

What else would you like to see?

Hopefully it would be a bit more visible than the accursed door open/shut LEDs...

i suppose you also want to see numbers fly off enemy mechs when you crit them

if you have a value and it is 100%
it is full, it is maximum, you cannot get any more % into it, the value is at its peak
think of a glass of water, you cannot fill a glass to 114% its maximum capacity

if your mech has a heat threshold and you increase it by 10% you do not attain a magical 110%
you have a new 100% value
you have fitted a larger glass of water

your mech still over heats at its maximum capacity value

thus it is useless information to be displayed on the hud as it is completely irrelevant

it would be nice for this information to show up in a data readout some place
like in the perks list perhaps

and I understand that. I get that my threshold is 100% of whateve my HS capacity is. But what I mean is once I unlock efficiencies and other skills, I want to see an indicator "somewhere" other than it just saying it in a skill discription. And while I don't want to see numbers fly off of mech lol, I would like to see actual numbers of armor and internals on the mech paper dolls. If a mech has 40 armor in one location and 20 or whatever number of internals are there, I want to see physical numbers drop on that mechs paper doll as I'm doing damage.

Sure the color indicators are helpful, but some times it's just nice to see how much damage we really are doing.

You can figure out your numbers in the testing grounds
All the mechs loaded in there are stock so if you look up or know their values you can figure out whats happening per test

I know thats not really helping as to what your talking about but its the best we've got at the moment

I dont see us getting numbers displayed on the paper doll
Or even if we get a HTAL display

I don't think we will get these things because of what i call "build mystery"
We are given very little information when entering battle
So that scouts have a purpose
Hence the radar works on a 45° cone and los
Unlike old MW games where you could target ppl from over 2km away
I believe the devs intended for us to have to figure out a given builds weakness when ever we face a new opponent

If you take away the secrets of peoples builds it will make the state of play turn very nasty
Currently if i strip a section of armor to zero the enemy can tell
If i strip it to 1-5 points it will show as fully armored
Providing mystery to my build
Its the same with things like XL engines
You dont know if that stalker has an xl
But his weapon list is crazy big so its a good bet he does
This is analysis you need to make on the fly
Its one of the many things that makes you a good or bad pilot

So yeah i dont see info like that comming to our huds anyvtime soon

Mind you upgrades to your battle computer
would make nice mech modules

ok that I can understand. But I'd like to know more info on my mech at least. I mean where in the game does it say anything about just how much internals "our" mechs have? That would be a good stat to have and know. Also, as for the mechs paper doll read out and showing colors for damage... What if someone is truly color blind? Do they have to guess if the mech is yellow, orange or red in damage? An option to toggle between damage by color or numbers would be helpful. And once a friendly mech IDs an enemy mech, we an see weapon loadouts but can't see armor and internal HP readouts? That should be easy enough to identify.

I mean, it's like our mech computers can find the easy button to lock on for LRMs and stuff, but can't make a positive ID on armor and internal structure reading on a mech?

Maybe that could be a module. Have one that when equipped and you target an enemy, you get a better read out of his armor (HPs) and Internal (HPs)
