It's getting a little crazy.
Live in Sydney, Australia, had a pretty consistent and bearable ping of 300 for most of my time here until this week.
Anyone else from my area know getting the same?

Blame "Mr Broadband".
My internet is terrible 1-3Mbps download speed and I always get at least 250ms ping. I'll frequently get massive lag spikes and desync is someone else is using the internet.
The NBN could have fixed these issues but it's recently been confirmed that Fibre to the Node / Existing HFC will be the default rollout options. In short Australia is pretty much screwed internet wise for the next 10 years or so

Not in your area (US actually) but with the poor Internet service out here in BFE response time typically is in the low 600s. The game was playable with that, not great but playable. Since this last patch I am seeing massive fluctuations just like you guys.
