Have seen this twice now, when under the platform staring into the tunnel, mech models will blink and then turn invisible until you get close enough. It's not fog of war or ducking behind walls, the models literally disappear.

Windows 8.1
AMD FX8320 with 4 cores disabled
AMD R9 270
8GB RAM

This has been happening for a while for me. Haven't checked with today's patch.
Typically when enemy mech is mid-tunnel and I am under the "garage".
Windows 7
I7-3930k
GTX 670
32 GB RAM

Same here, everyone i play with has the same issue. The mechs just disappear in the tunnel when near the middle entrance.

Actually this has been going on forever its more of a problem with cry engine not the game itself. They will have to work around it with the tools they have in cry engine but seeing two games including this one poorly optimized with it well I wonder why even use it. So yeah I am having this problem as well it just maybe more frequent now since they tried to patch the FPS issues.

Never encountered vanishing mechs in this location before, but I HAVE had vanishing walls in this exact locaton leading to being able to see mechs and places I shouldn't

Whats your render distance setting? I forgot which exact setting that would be its either environment detail or another setting there. I understand if you have to keep it low but keep in mind its going to look not so good. Also PGI may ask for your setup be prepared for that aswell!

Have the same problem also happens around the mid-tunnel exit/entry

Same problem here, most of the time if I look into the middle entrance.

Mechs tune in and out of visibility all the time in this tunnel, from start of inclusion up until now .
Working as intended, no advantage gained ...

Old Bug that sometimes did also happen in River City and Forrest Colony though Crimson City is the map were it is easy to replicate.

It's just simply broken PVS on this map. Problems with engine's map compiler. I don't know, if PGI can fix it manually.
