Greetings all misfits, outcasts, novices, noobs, newbs, common boobs and generally low-ELO players!

I'm here to recruit a posse of low-lying, decrepit, non teamspeak, underprivelaged mechwarriors who are merely out to have a good time, win or lose, who may or may not have a modicum of battlefield etiquette, in order to fight for the common plebian player!

Corps doctrine:

Charlie's Lancers is meant to be more of a spoof faction; as such, there will be no formal ranks, as I do not have the time available to manage a fully fledged group of people. This is meant more as an informal group of people, be they dedicated or casual gamers, who would like something more than solo drops, but less (MUCH less) than professional, organised team drops. Charlie's Lancers are there to provide a sociable, informal environment where PUG puppies and all those wishing informal, temporary groups can get together for the odd few matches, free from formal commitments. We are here to have fun first and foremost, secondary and tertiary.

That being said however, a certain amount of civility and decorum should be observed at all times; we are here to have fun, shoot mechs and die in blazes of glory (or lack therof). Civilised players would be very much welcomed.

Teamspeak:

Alas, there is no formal teamspeak server for ChLcs, as this is still a formative group, and likely to stay that way. ChLcs is here to cater for those who don't have access to VoIP comms, and those who wish more informality to their games, without any added intrusion. Comms therefore will likely be limited to a pre-game lobby chat and, in game, whoever feels they can type fast enough.

Primary timezone(s):

Primary timezone is to be UTC+2 (PST+10). As this is a South African-run coalition, times are to be given based on GMT time (closest to group origin time). However, for players further abroad, UTC times will be supplied whenever possible.

As above, so below (or so the strange, tinfoil-hat-wearing oddballs would say); there is no real contact apart from myself, grotoiler, for now. However, subject to community feedback, this is subject to change. Any and all interested parties should contact me via messanges here on the forum for FAIRLY prompt response, as well as feedback on this forum posting, or send me an in-game request (which may take a few days). If enough interest is garnered, subcommanders will be assigned and tasks delegated to them, based on timezones and available time. This post shall be updated accordingly with relevant contact details.
