[Cozmix]

Anyone know of an alternative internal 8 port or more raid card that would compare or be just plain cheaper than the LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS 9266-8i i'm currently about to buy? I know the 9265 is a tad cheaper, it's just that the sas ports are located at the front of this card as apposed to the back on the 9265.

I'll post some pictures if anyone wants to have a look.

Raid Card: Not Decided
Disk Space: 6x 1TB Western Digital Cavaliar Blacks, 2x 120GB OCZ Vertex 3 Max iops
Case: Danger Den Tower 29 Double Wide (black)
Monitor: 1x 23" Asus VG236H 120Hertz!
- Might also get a high end IPS monitor for work.

Water Cooling Setup
- 2x 250mm resevoirs
- 2x D5 liang fixed speed pumps
- 1x EK dual pump/Res block
- 24x 140mm fans, push-pull, for this build these are optimal.
- 3x-4x 140mm radiators
- 1x koolance 370 waterblock
