I think we did that -after- they started to try to take over the whole IS and handed out weapons of mass destruction like candy. And after they chased off their now recalcitrant puppet (Thomas Marik) on the FWL´s throne and replaced it yet with another puppet. (Corinne Marik)

Then we nuked them. Including their leader, the "real" Thomas Marik on Circinnius.

Also, we have never heard of that "collateral damage" you are speaking of. Must be some outlandish Liao thing.

Our nukes had nothing to do with their "plan" to take the inner sphere, In most case they would put an end to wobbie plans.
