So we have the lastest event on and it's a rather laughable joke.

10 million c-bills bonus up for grabs they say?

I laugh and say your dreaming, the scoring method is crazy, a lossing side will hardly never reach this 130 mark and to top it off if you do you get 100k?

that's 100 scoring match's to get your 10 mill. Last time cash was up for grabs it was 500k per scoring match, not 100k, this is being a cheapskate.

I know for last event i just made my 60 matches with a few hours to spare and had to put in a 8 hour stretch on the final day to get there.

the previous c-bill bonus event i got 8 million and that was once again a whole weekend deal.

Personally at 100k a scoring match with such a ****** formula, i'll pass and take my hula girl so i can have 1 in each variants of my mechs for a total of 3 now and not bother with the c-bill chase as it's just crazy amount of matches even if you score every match.

i got 400k from 15 matches, sure i was playing with a bunch of drunk mates on a friday night but it's just not worth the hassle for the pay out.

PGI stop being cheapskates and at least make it 250k per scoring match or else it's not worht the effort.

As with many things they are testing different configurations for balance. Maybe the next will be 200, who knows.

I don't know why you're moaning after all the rewards they gave away in the previous lance challenge. Just do what a lot of players will do for solo tournaments.....get your required minimum, take your free stuff and go play for fun and not worry about ay further scoring.

I'm at 3.5 million, pure solo queue and I'm probably only above average a pilot at best. 10 mill is definitely possible, though probably much more likely for people running in groups.

So far I haven't even been able to get a qualified game. But hey, mechplayer gods, laugh all you want. 10 million is a laughable amount because I'll never be able to get even close to it.

It is but remember last time it was SOLO only and WINS only to make the money (TBO not sure if losses are counting towards the bonus) and this time I think the score formula is a lil easier

Well considering the only decent event PGI has ever held was the Halloween one last month, I guess I have pretty low standards for them. The tacked on multiplayer horde mode in Mass Effect 3 had better events and event rewards than MWO does (and oddly enough despite being an obvious after thought it was actually a pretty damn fun multiplayer, but I digress). 100k is stingy, even 10 mill isn't all that much given the tedious forced grinding of the leveling system, and honestly the event is not really all that interesting, but everything in MWO is stingy from the exp grind to the awful rewards per game.

So really it's a matter of relativity, this event is decent compared to the usual. Even if the rewards are a token gesture at best.

so if we even nice enough to say 50% win ratio and say what 85% of those wins is a scoring game, and how long is the average match?

how long will it take for the average person to earn this 10 mill?

As someone who plays more than just MWO i hate to say it this cheapskate payout just doesn't cut it in my eyes, got 15 games done with the ladz taking ina few beers, thats enough for my 3rd hula girl and i guess i'm gonna go play other games instead this weekend than help PGI with there data mine for such craptastic rewards

i play other games and with there events going on this change from 20 games to needing 100 games i think the common player is being ripped off.

I think the regular player is being fooled into this you can win 10 mill this wekend when really i doubt many will.

i personally gonna say no thanks, been playing all week, and this 100 games needed to earn the cash compared to 20 last timew they offered this amount is rather a slap in the face and just a way for PGI to test the waters to see if people will just always play even if the incentives are pathetic for what they call an event.

to me this isn't an event it's a rip off, thanks i played my 15 games , off to play other games this weekend instead.

Exactly half of my 20 games have qualified for the additional 100K CBills.

Derp Teams, where too many people seem determined to touch all 12 enemy Mechs and not kill them, cost me most of the other 10 matches.

As a laughable side effect, my k/d is going up as some players have clearly stopped shooting enemies to avoid killing them and get the higher assist bonus. Of course, that's doubly stupid because then we lose the match and no-one gets any bonus for the undead enemies.

The urge to shoot friendlies doing stupid things is rising, rising, RISING, RISING!!!

Yeah, but it is a stupid formula that punishes you for, IDK, KILLING the enemy?

And when you got 12 guys trying to scratch everyone to [pad] their score, it's also means few people are actually KILLING to get the win.
