Yeah, it'll match the other two Norns - the Centurion AH and AS7-S - presumably. Those two where single mech rewards as well.

As such, I'd say the King Crab will be a single mech with a comparable skin named Skuld.

There will be 3 c-bill variants. You just get a hero/champion variant of the King Crab

reward mechs are special  limited edition mechs, afaik these particular items will never be offered for c-bills.

The King crab hero
The Atlas S
The Centurion AH

He means. There will be 3 regular King Crab variants offered as C-bills.

Thx for ultra clarification :)

I was aware of unique mechs, being around since beta, but not finding any clue about a king crab c-bill variant made me wary. It´s hard finding specific info if you don´t live & breathe the forums.

King Crab will probably buck the trend and have its non-special counterpart released at the same time thanks to the need for those who didn't get it have for a third variant to go with the other two that both kinds of players need to elite the chassis.

Would be nice if the cbill variants dropped within a week of the special mech. No one wants to drive a basic'd assault mech for very long.

Well I am kind of hoping that they release the variants at the same time as the reward KC. I mean it would be kind of lame as hell to not be able to master once you have received it.

I thought the C-Bill variants were being released at the same time? Am I wrong? Am I confused? Distinct possibility.

Oh goody, I only have to wait a month to master my KC if I want to use C-bills rather than real money. Damn I wish PGI would knock off the greedy BS once in a while.

There are lots of examples of hero mechs, for example, which were released ahead of their c-bill counterparts. If you bought the hero, you could only finish the basic efficiencies while you waited for the other variants to arrive several weeks later. The highlander hero was like that, and I know there were several other examples as well.

My guess is the reward version will be distributed first, with other variants following much later. People will just have to wait to master it. Not the end of the world.

I thought the King crab would be more like the Mad Dog release.

I can't tell if you're serious. Complaining that the free 100-ton hero will be given to you too soon.....before the other free-to-play content is released. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're joking. It just hits a nerve with me -- like when we just get home from Disneyland and the next day my 5 year old cries "we never do ANYTHING fun".

You're not doing THAT here, right?

MC payments helps keep the game running for longer. They have every right to do this and I find this totally understandable.
