After a game/pc breaking bug that made MWO to use my whole HDD, that in turn made my PC crash in a ball of fire.... I was able to restore it.

The next hurdle to play MWO again is to download (dl) the "install base".... which dlding speed is appalling. The dl speed is ridiculously low with an estimated dlding time of 17 houres!!!! This considering that I can dl games from steam at 11-15 mb/s
https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

Any advise? I am dlding from Singapore btw.

Greetings,

Did you try refreshing your DNS? And do a trace route check to see just where the line direction is going.
(where the hold-up is originating.)

- Attempt to get a better path to PGI, some others from areas around you reported they were being directed across the Europe lines instead of straight across the water to the NA connection points.
- The installer itself is not that large, 60Mb. The game will look for somewhere in the order of 16Gb of area to move information around when fully installed.

Just some info,

Greetings,

Great to hear, are you on connected line plug in or wireless to the computer?

You never did say what type of service you normally have, DSL, cable, fiber?

- Might want to check if wireless, that the signal isn't also being used to stream music or movies.
- Are you the only system on the modem connection, or sharing?
- Also if wireless, change the password, to make sure it's not being 'borrowed'.
