I haven't played this game in more than a year, what has changed since then? Conquest was a new thing when I left.

Quirk pass for IS mechs
Clans invaded.
People are getting Crabs

Everyone is bitching about lights, LRMs, and money.

A few new clan mechs. Most IS mechs got some nice Quirks that offer major buffs to some weapon systems, making some of the dud chassis competitive. You can find a full list of the quirks here -> https://static.mwome...re%20Quirks.pdf

Quirks are new. It's hard to find a full list, but here's a link so you can read about them for the mechs you own: https://docs.google....&pli=1&sle=true

There are two new maps and new clan mechs now. But in terms of the actual gameplay, it's essentially the exact same game it was a year ago. If you didn't like it then, you won't like it now.

Well, that's a shame. I used to play the old MW games back in the day, but left very disappointed by this one.

That's unfortunate to hear. Hopefully future changes might make the game more attractive and draw you back in. Is there anything in particular that leaves you disappointed in the game's current form?

1. Skirmish is the new newest mode (basically team deathmatch).
2. Before they were let go, PGI"s publisher got them to sell Clan 'mechs early.
3. PGI decided Clan vs IS matches would be 12 vs 12 instead of 10 vs 12 (or some other ratio).
4. Because of 12 vs 12 Clan 'mechs had to be nerfed and IS 'mechs buffed (with Quirks) so they'd be each others' equal but they did it slowly so as not to piss off the people who paid real money for Clan 'mech packages too much.
5. They introduced Mech Modules for zooming in, climbing hills better, seismic sensing, avoiding LRMs, etc., Weapon Modules to improve range and rate of fire, and Consumables for UAVs and air/artillery strikes.
6. New maps.
7. Even more Clan and IS 'mech packages

Thank you all. If gameplay is pretty much the same, then I'll just do as I've been doing so far.
