It was expected.
We all saw it coming.
(And when clans do get their quirks this should enter into considering by a lot.)
but keeping an arm alive on that thing is damn near impossible.
You can strip the legs bare and still lose both arms before the leg.
I want to like the Koshi, because it handles like a dream, which turns into a nightmare when your arms get popped a few mins into the match and you are left to just....roam.
*shrug*

You're still an active probe on legs, which is still pretty useful.

My first build will be in the flavor of very flighty ecm sniper.
I'll be way, way, way, back over here if you need me.

Weapons in arms only? C variant is a joke. 2 hard points I'll enjoy running these down in my firestarter.

This story reminded me of MW2 Mercs, my friends and I used to call mech hands there the 'autumn leaves', as they were to pop out at first salvoes... Predominantly on lights and meds...

Look at it this way: it's progress
We have a light mech with fantastic hitboxes. You take the majority of damage on your arms before getting to the side torso's and ct.
We have small leg hiboxes which make them difficult to hit.
All great things in a light.
It's just unfortunate that the Koshi carries 100% of all it's weapons in those arms. If we just had a single energy hardpoint in the head, ct or st's I would call it a good mech. But everyone and their mother aims for the arms and even when they don't aim they hit the arms.

It has quirks that give it bonus side torso structure and health. So strip the side torsos and pump those legs and arms up.

People complain about the lack of hardpoints, but even with 4 energy hardpoints on both arms, they'd still fall off in a stiff breeze.
I find it more fun to take down mechs that can actually defend themselves, personally. Stealing candy from babies was never my cup of tea.
