Averaging a 4.9 KDA (I know I know) and I average about 1200 damage with 4+ kills at the very least. It's super nice. Pretty much an AC15 that shoots like an AC2... I've made so many kill videos with him lately.

EDIT: Though the 12 DPS ac5s on the DRG-1N certainly give the TDR-5SS a run for its money, I haven't seen nearly as many of those on the field.

I've been using the FS9-H alot and while its quirks are less outrageous, it's pretty much the light king now IMO. Also thinking about buying back the BNC-3M (sold it as I only wanted the 3E) for some serious wubshee action.

Yup. I've been rocking BNC-3E to substantial success. Like the rapid-fire gauss rifle, with a wall's worth of armor and decent agility. Alternatively, drop to regular medium lasers and step into a ~350 rated engine if you need a bit more speed.
Brutal.

Could use a general movement/climb quirk. I swear it handles worse than my Awesome.
As for cheesiest look for the mechs that got range/heat/cooldown buffs to pulse lasers.

Does the Dragon's AC/5 spam really make up for it's lack of jump jets?
The Wubverine does play awfully well but it is just a glass cannon that can't jump.
Are we going to have to wait for an actual tournament to find out?

It comes pretty damn close to standing up to a Timber Wolf, yeah. But then, the TBR is ten tons heavier; and the TDR-5SS is more than a match for the Mad Dog.
And yes, the AC5 spam more than makes up for the lack of jumpjets, which are pretty lackluster these days.

Check out it's quirks, boat 6 of the quirked weapon and then go BLAZING!

Now that there are so many deadly IS mech variants after being quirked up, I hope that there won't be any nerfs. If the goal was to bring up IS mechs to almost Clan level (remember, last number was Clan win rate 64%), it would not make sense to nerf these mechs now. Now I actually have a CHOICE between many good mechs.
"But the Timber Wolf runs much hotter and cannot spam so many alpha strikes as the 5S" - yeah imagine a Timby that would run as cold as the 5S now: 1500-2000 damage matches?!?!
No, all these quirked up mechs are powerful now but still have some limitations. Storm Crow, Timber Wolf and Dire Wolf are still better, but not so far away anymore. It's good as it is now. If anything, some mechs still need more/better quirks, also especially some of the bad clan mechs.

The only thing I really think is OP with the quirks is the quad LRM15 8R, it is able to spawn out a whole lance of LRMboat's worth of missiles on it's own within moments.
Even then it still has weaknesses, primarily being an Awesome and having little to no self defense capability, making in easy prey to anything that can get close.

It can, as long as you can get close enough without getting messed up trying. As soon as you are within 350m, the Timber Wolf is going to have a bad day.
