[Odins Fist]

I have a small issue, after a match has ended I click the "End Match" tab/button and sometimes it just drops MWO completely, right back to desktop.

This doesn't happen after every single match, but often enough to be annoying.

This just recently started happening.
Is there a fix for this?

This issue was something that 'Alexander' PGI Dev. was looking into.
- Has it suddenly started or after the last patch?

Check that the new MWO launcher and exe is still set to Admin authority, with each Patch it may be reset to default user level.
- The game needs to have authority to 'write to files' and change some, so if it's no longer allowed, it may be stopped in it's tracks. (also needs to close one application, and open another, possibly in a different window size.)
- This is most likely a coding issue for PGI to correct, but check the authority levels first.

(report back with results if not corrected.)

did this ever get solved for you ? I have a similar problem where the game was dropping me back to the desktop from the login...

I get this same problem but tonite a new twist. When I restart the game after the crash, I get "Please Wait: Downloading Install Base". 4 hour wait time while the launcher apparently re-installs the entire game...
