By looking at the same model used in other F2P it came to me that MWO is currently lacking something to better invite players to spend little sums in the game
I noticed how Hero (and now champion) mechs boost the player income, yet i still feel that there should be the chance for those pilots that love a particular chassis to have atleast a similiar benefit if they so choose
What i wanted to propose was an extra Upgrade in the mech exp tree that will let you add a bonus of 20% more exp and C-Bills to said chassis
What this does is let player earn more exp and cbills more quickly with the mech they choose while still not surpassing the bonus offered by a particular special chassis ( Hero/Champion mechs )
With consideration to the game financial model i believe this Upgrade should be made available for MC only at any mech proficiency level, at a reasonable price of 700 MC, which is easily affordable by anyone and also through ingame events, said upgrade should, as mentioned, also be per single chassis, except for Hero and Champion mechs that already come with an "upgraded" (30%) variant already equipped
I created this topic to gather feedback from the community and see if the idea interests anyone.

Make it scale based on the price of the hero mech for the bonus that you want to get. For example, if you the 15% boosts you would pay 50% of the hero mech MC price. This way PGI does not set a price for the upgrade that makes a real hero mech a stupid decision. Scaling the value allows for "micro" type transactions compared to the option we have now.

In my mind it was meant to be as a way to get normal mechs closer to Hero or champion mechs when you "completely" upgrade them but i get your point

Staying with the needed 3 Mechs to Elite/Master theorem, perhaps you would get a 5% bonus on the first of any Elite set, 10% on the second and then 15% on the 3rd. Cost is the same for each to make getting all 3 done provides the best over-all % gained deal.
That way your "set of 3" gains you a 30% bonus total/set but you can never gain it all at once, thus no conflict with Premium time buys...

Yep excellent idea. I for one am mostly sticking to what I have mastered and equipped and yet to equip. The ability to customize my current mechs with MC is a great idea. War horns(need more to choose from) were a good start and cockpit items.
Top of my list is a suppressor for the obscene ac 2 and 5 and lbx 10 sound effects.
Decals are on the way it has been hinted and thats awsome.
Havnt given much thought to what else could be offered though.
