I can understand why the TBR needed a nerf and fixing its jump jets was a build changer. However 6 jumpjets on the Mist Lynx is killing this 'mech. Even fixed jumpjets on the summoner and the kitfox are a pretty big nerf but having 3 tons of a 25 ton much dedicated to 62 jump is insanity.

Please reconsider this fixed jump jet nerf effecting ALL clan mechs?

The Mist Lynx's jump jets are hardwired, it is unaffected by the fixed jump jet change that hit the Timber Wolf and Kit Fox.

Wasn't aware this wasn't the nerf at work.

And by fair, we mean 1 set of inflexible rules for Clan mechs and a 2nd set of rules that allow IS lights to have higher than normal engines, no fixed equipment of any kind on IS mechs, lower heat weapons with heat quirks so they don't even need as many heatsinks (i.e. free tonnage), more pinpoint/short delivery options, etc.

I'll go as far to say that if you had IS vs. Clans and removed the big 3 clan mechs, Clan faction would likely lose repeatedly at this point.

6x fixed JJs would be awesome if:
(1) JJs scaled correctly, so 6x JJ = 3x the "oomph" compared to 2x JJs
(2) There were any need to jump really high
(3) Jumping really high didn't kill your legs faster than your opponent's lasers

Oh, it's no contest. Even the "bad" IS mechs would dominate the Clan chassis - the TBR, SCR, and DWF are the only things holding Clans together at all.

They jump superhigh. This would be good if fall damage wasn't irritating.

So.....maybe they can remove Timber/SC/DW from the game, permanently.

Then buff the "bad" clan chassis?

Yes, because clearly a few screenshots in the solo queue prove anything.

please note that the TBR/KFX JJ Nerf was a Nerf to their Crit-Space and Tonnage,
taking JumpJets with you is not a Nerf, forcing them on you, thats the real Nerf,
also i wish there was no Fixed Equipment but its there for Lore and Balance,

Not this has ZERO to do with the nerf to the Timberwolf, and instead the Koshi is in the same category as the Summoner.

6 fixed JJ is not exactly helping this mech(I drove Summoners so I feel your pain), but you don't get to use this as an attack on the balance change that nerfed the Timberwolf S pods.

Take a great pilot out of an F-22 and put him in a F4-U, and then send him against a MIG-25, and tell me who wins...

Tech has hand in winning.

It's a 25ton ****** mech just like the IS 25 ton ****** mech. The only way they will ever be really good is if there are little foot soldiers on the field to kill. freeing up 3 tons is not going to fix that issue.

Fixed JJs, fixed CAP in the head... Why did PGI feel the need to nerf already weak chassis I have no idea.
