I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes.
BJ-1 has quirks for AC/2. I assume because this is because the quirks have a bias towards the stock load-outs.
I wish to point out that the BJ-1(C), comes stock with an AC/20, yet it has the same AC/2 quirks as a stock BJ-1.
So which is it? Quirks are bias towards the stock load-out or we quirk them to make them more effective competitively. (In which case, the BJ-1 should have received AC/20 quirks anyway, because competitively, this mechs is used w/ the 3ml and AC/20 that the champion is based on.)
Quirking the BJ-1(C) w/ an AC/20 perk instead of AC/2 would give someone a reason to own this mech outside the C-bill earnings and would differentiate it from the standard BJ-1. It would also be in line with the bias that quirks lean towards the stock load-out.

The BJ-1 and BJ-A got bad quirks. The BJ-A's quirks should have been on the BJ-1, and the BJA should have gotten some Ballistic Range and Energy quirks.
It happened with a few other mechs, sadly.

The main reason why the champion version dont carry different quirks is because of a few things
1. the BJ-1(c) is techincally a trial mech with an alternate config over its original config since the older version is outdated and cant fight against upgraded configs.
2. the (C) type has installed upgrades and including an XL engine
depending on that config.
3. XP bonus. thats given to those use it or after buying it. they can still use AC2 and all, they have to alter it.
4. the Black Jack Arrow has the AC20 quirks. Check it out.
Its understandable that the champion versions should have different quirks due to that fact we had something like that with a similar subject before. and maybe that it would help in a mech's "Value" but thats up to the devs on that.

Champions do not change anything in regards to CBill earnings. They only give 30% more XP, wich is pointless.

All valid points which I believe reinforce my original post actually.
Arrow comes with MG's, and so should have MG perks.
The BJ-1 using AC/2s is not the competitive build that earned it it's ranking. AC/20's is the competitive build.
BJ-1 = ac/2 perks would mean
Arrow = mg perks
BJ-1(c) = ac/20 perks. As above the C grants an exp bonus, not a cbills bonus. The Arrow is the one that grants the cbill bonus.
While I enjoy that they've granted the AC/20 perks to the hero mech, I don't think that's in-line with the spirit of the quirks and it doesn't help the BJ-1's at all. I haven't seen any, zero, none, zip, BJ-1's since the quirk pass. I've seen all of the other variants, even the ones without JJ.
