And fun. I enjoyed it solo, with a group of less than 4, and group of 5-10. It took time, and 34 matches of brawler builds, but I had a good time.

Good job, PGI. This tournament DIDN'T suck.

I completed it as well and got my Victor....but it sure did test my sanity. That's good you enjoyed it, but I'm afraid you're probably in the minority here. Only reason I went on to do it was because of the 3 day prem time you get awarded at first point - so I'm taking full advantage and getting in as many games as possible and just happen to wound up to 20 pts.

If it weren't for the prem time I probably would not have bothered since, from my experience, the quality of games reduces noticeably during events like this and this event seemed to be no exception. Getting that 20 pts caused my head to spin.

IMO it wouldn't have been nearly as bad if you didn't have to survive. I'm a risk taker and an aggressive player who will take an initiative to give my team an opening which usually means I die most games, even during victory which doesn't work for this tournament. Oh well, here's to hoping PGI learn from this event for the next one.

Same here. My first 20 qualifiers were all in a Blackjack and a T-Bolt. I think that the 'surival' requirement was good incentive. For people who chose to interpret that as "hide in the back!" they tended to make their team lose. You'd think a string of losses in an LRM boat would discourage that behavior, and get them into something more useful.

Outside of some players being goofballs, which happens in every challenge, I didn't have an issue with the rules for this one.

All I can say is... playing in the solo queue was unbearable. There was far more "consistency" in the group queue, because aggression is normally practiced there.

This challenge has been a bit too much for me. I think 20 points was excessive.

The PUG queue has been exceptionally annoying; lots of cowards and opportunists.

Tournament was easy, thx for the free Mech.

Just play normally and you get the points.

Play normal and no issues. I love it when people sit back in self preservation mode, especially on the other team. I just baulz in there and start taking them out as they run away lmao. If I die, who the hell cares.

It took me 78 games playing Solo for my Victor. Tried to play my Jenner but a light mech was a massive bullseye for the enemy players wanting a kill. Ended up playing Mediums and even Heavies which is very rare for me.

Just glad it is over. Nearly lost it a couple of times and just had to walk away from the computer. Seen quite a lot of interesting chat over the last 24 hours as well.

It certainly was a CHALLENGE!.

Cheers and good luck to everyone in getting their 20.

I was the king of the jungle, went brawl mode on a warhawk: srm6's, LPL and uac20. People panicked as I crashed through the vegatation.

Lots of people treated their mech as if it was made of glass. And got punished for it. Severely. :D

Loved the challenge, finished it yesterday morning and have been helping out people since then.
