I think it would be interesting if we not take seat day by day fighting, losing and winning terrain till the end of days.
It would be interesting a sharp mind in politics can help to achieve the success.

Yeah, harvesting for 2 months to get Jenner is the ideal game for me.

Come on, you know you want to drive that AgroMech during next summer and do pest control and straw bundling with it!

It would be cool if the devs could incorporate that into the game (and I think they recognize how awesomesauce that would be) but I'm totally cool with setting up the core gameplay first, then expanding the game to incorporate that sort of thing.

Jajajaja,
I mean only politics not resources harvesting, at the end its a combat game, but in big scale warfare politics exists, i dont care if the resources are gathered automatically based on *** factors..

Speculation, keeps feeding the frenzy to continue firing up threads that do nothing but repeat things said a week ago that are now buried behind 15 pages of posts.
MWO needs room to breathe. I am as excited as the next, but you all have to admit, its getting a little out of hand.

To be honest Not really. Single player tends to only get played once by most players and then they hop online to test mech configs, and have a challenge as AI no matter what atm is still sub par to most players.
I think this approach is the best as the bulk of the actual Mechwarrior communities over the years have all been multiplayer. By focusing all their assets in to multiplayer it now allows them to have a much more refined and robust multiplayer which is the actual core play of Mechwarrior games. As Metro ^^ said they do plan on adding PvE later on (They better not be meaning my Clans > : (

I'd love to see a Rift style world event but without the persistent 'MMO' setup, we're not going to get it.
Yes both at the same time (so clan/team match would be persistent and public grind would be instanced) would be very interesting, and kind of push people down the matchplay road (which is not terrible as long as they allow for variations in skill to play in match and don't just make it elite/end game players like WoT did).
But I see a mess of dev coding and issues pushing patches out, and if it ends up like WoTs Clan Battle (which is a disaster) that would be unfortunate.

I'd like the role warfare to include dropship pilot/manufacturer (a bit of crafting, anyone?) or arms dealer/commander (ability to control NPCs in instanced battles as well as special overview of team)/medic (MRB call for damanged teammates).
If only in team match, imagine the chaos a merc groupu suddently switching sides in the middle of a battle, when they control 2 of your drop ships and your MRBs?
hilarious.

The player base of battletech universe cares a lot after the lore and mechanics of the core game remains... at least i do.
I cant stand the idea we can sit day by day looking scoreboards of kills and ladders, i think any battletech fan neither can.
