Hey guys and gals, I was wondering if you all had screenshots of the starting zone? I really enjoy the map structure but I really can't play the map without thermal vision. It's really hazy/foggy looking at any reasonable distance. I'll try and take a screenshot of my view and post it here.

Thing is, I've seen several people post screenshots of what seems to be less foggy areas of the map with a crisp and clear view. I just can't seem to find these areas on my own and am starting to wonder if a bug is involved? I really want to start being able to play more maps without the need for thermals.

The lower areas are supposed to be more foggy. The whole idea of the map is that it has limited visibility.

This is also why I like the map- it dramatically lowers the chance of spotting the entire enemy team from the other side of the map, and means non-long range builds can stand to last a lot longer.

Fog is weird in this game, i see fine in the bog mostly, but sometimes its really foggy...

Mind you the cave on forest colony is worse, it can either be perfectly clear and visible, or have zero visibility and even with thermal vision.
